Publcity is a publishing platform where writers, professionals, businesses, creators, organizations and other contributors can share useful ideas, insights, experiences and information with readers.

We want Publcity to be an open and active publishing community while maintaining a useful, trustworthy and enjoyable experience for readers.

Please read these Publishing Guidelines & Terms before submitting content.

By submitting content to Publcity, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these guidelines and understand that your submission may be published automatically and reviewed by Publcity after publication.

1. Automatic Publication

Publcity may automatically publish submitted articles after they are successfully submitted.

This allows contributors to see their work published immediately and share it with their audience.

Publication does not mean that Publcity has reviewed, approved, verified or endorsed every statement, claim, link, product, service or opinion contained in the article.

Published submissions may be reviewed by the Publcity editorial team after publication.

Publcity reserves the right to edit, update, restrict, unpublish or permanently remove any article that does not meet our publishing standards.

An article being published does not guarantee that it will remain published indefinitely.

2. Quality Standards

Publcity aims to publish content that provides genuine value to readers.

Articles should generally be:

  • Original and useful
  • Clearly written and reasonably organized
  • Relevant to the subject and intended audience
  • Informative, interesting, educational or otherwise valuable
  • Free from excessive repetition and unnecessary filler
  • Written for people rather than solely for search engines
  • Presented in a professional and readable format

Articles that provide little or no meaningful value to readers may be removed.

Shorter articles may be accepted when they provide a clear and useful contribution. Publcity may also feature shorter business, professional or community-focused contributions where appropriate.

3. Originality and Ownership

By submitting an article, you confirm that:

  • You created the content or have the necessary rights and permission to publish it.
  • The content does not knowingly infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
  • You have permission to use any images, graphics, videos, quotations or other third-party material included in your submission.
  • The article has not been copied from another website, publication or individual without permission.
  • You are not submitting someone else’s work while claiming it as your own.

Publcity may remove content if we receive a credible copyright complaint or otherwise determine that the content may violate intellectual property rights.

4. AI-Assisted Content

Publcity allows the use of artificial intelligence and other writing tools.

However, contributors remain responsible for the final content they submit.

AI-assisted articles should:

  • Provide genuine value to readers
  • Be reviewed and edited by the contributor
  • Be factually responsible
  • Avoid fabricated information
  • Avoid excessive repetition or generic filler
  • Follow all other Publcity publishing requirements

Using AI does not excuse inaccurate, misleading, copied or low-quality content.

5. Accuracy and Misleading Information

Contributors are responsible for the accuracy of factual claims made in their articles.

Do not intentionally publish:

  • False information
  • Fabricated statistics
  • Fake testimonials
  • Misleading claims
  • Deceptive business information
  • False credentials
  • Misleading product or service claims
  • Fabricated news or events
  • Content designed to impersonate another person or organization

Publcity may request corrections, edit content or remove articles containing inaccurate or misleading information.

6. Links and Backlinks

Links should be relevant and useful to the reader.

Contributors should not use articles primarily as a method of placing backlinks.

The following may result in editing, rejection, unpublishing or removal:

  • Keyword-stuffed anchor text
  • Excessive links
  • Unrelated links
  • Hidden links
  • Manipulative link placement
  • Repeated links to the same website without a clear editorial reason
  • Links intended primarily to manipulate search rankings
  • Links to low-quality, deceptive or unsafe websites

Publcity may modify, remove or change the attributes of links where appropriate.

A contributor does not have an automatic right to a specific anchor text, number of links or link attribute.

7. Promotional Content

Publcity welcomes useful business and professional content, but ordinary contributor articles should provide value beyond simply promoting a company, product or service.

Articles that are primarily advertisements, sales pitches or promotional announcements may be:

  • Edited
  • Reclassified
  • Published as a Business Spotlight where appropriate
  • Referred to Sponsored Publishing
  • Unpublished or removed

Publcity offers Sponsored Publishing for businesses, brands and organizations seeking dedicated promotional exposure.

Sponsored Publishing is separate from ordinary editorial contributions.

Payment does not guarantee publication. Sponsored content remains subject to Publcity’s editorial standards.

8. Business Spotlight and Short Contributions

Publcity may accept shorter contributions that highlight a business, organization, professional service, product, project or initiative.

These contributions should still provide useful information to readers and should not simply consist of advertising copy.

Publcity may place qualifying submissions in a Business Spotlight or similar content category.

The same standards regarding accuracy, originality, links and promotional content apply.

9. Prohibited Content

Publcity does not permit content that includes or promotes:

  • Illegal activities
  • Fraud or scams
  • Malware or malicious software
  • Phishing or deceptive practices
  • Pirated or stolen material
  • Copyright infringement
  • Impersonation
  • Deliberately misleading information
  • Spam
  • Automated or mass-generated low-quality submissions
  • Hate-based or threatening content
  • Harassment or targeted abuse
  • Sexually explicit material where inappropriate for the platform
  • Content promoting harmful or dangerous activities
  • Malicious attempts to manipulate Publcity or its users
  • Content that violates applicable laws or regulations

Publcity may remove prohibited content without prior notice.

10. Spam and Manipulative Submissions

Publcity is intended for genuine publishing and professional participation.

Do not submit:

  • The same article repeatedly
  • Large numbers of substantially similar articles
  • Automatically generated articles with little meaningful value
  • Articles created primarily for backlinks
  • Keyword-stuffed content
  • Thin articles created solely to promote a website
  • Fake news or fabricated stories
  • Content designed to manipulate Publcity’s engagement systems
  • Submissions intended to exploit the publishing platform

Repeated spam or low-quality submissions may result in publishing restrictions or account suspension.

11. Reader Value Comes First

Publcity may accept content covering a wide range of subjects, but the primary consideration should be whether the content is useful or interesting to the reader.

Before submitting, contributors should ask:

Would someone who is not connected to my business, website or organization find this article useful or interesting?

If the answer is no, the content may be better suited to Sponsored Publishing or another promotional format.

12. Editorial Changes

Publcity may make reasonable editorial changes to published content.

These may include:

  • Correcting spelling and grammar
  • Improving formatting
  • Adjusting headings
  • Removing unnecessary repetition
  • Correcting broken links
  • Removing inappropriate or excessive links
  • Adjusting titles or excerpts
  • Adding or changing categories or tags
  • Updating images or featured images
  • Making changes necessary for readability, accuracy or compliance

Where appropriate, Publcity may contact the contributor before making substantial changes.

Publcity is not required to obtain permission for routine editorial, formatting or compliance changes.

13. Removal and Unpublishing

Publcity reserves the right to unpublish or permanently remove an article when we determine that it:

  • Violates these guidelines
  • Is substantially misleading
  • Is low quality
  • Contains spam
  • Contains excessive or manipulative promotional content
  • Contains inappropriate links
  • Violates copyright or another person’s rights
  • Contains prohibited content
  • Creates legal or reputational concerns
  • Was submitted fraudulently
  • Was published in error
  • No longer meets Publcity’s editorial standards

We may remove content immediately where we believe immediate action is necessary.

Removal of an article does not necessarily require advance notice to the contributor.

14. Repeat Violations

Publcity may take additional action against contributors who repeatedly submit content that violates these guidelines.

Possible actions include:

  • Requesting revisions before future publication
  • Restricting submission privileges
  • Requiring manual editorial review
  • Removing previously published content
  • Suspending an account
  • Permanently preventing future submissions

The action taken may depend on the seriousness and frequency of the violations.

15. Contributor Responsibility

By submitting content, you accept responsibility for the material you provide.

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of your content
  • Your claims and statements
  • Your links
  • Your images and media
  • Your right to use submitted material
  • Compliance with applicable laws
  • Ensuring that your content does not violate the rights of others

Publcity provides a publishing platform but does not assume responsibility for the accuracy or legality of contributor-submitted content.

16. Author Attribution

Publcity may display the contributor’s name, profile information, biography, website or other information associated with their Publcity account.

Contributors should provide accurate author information.

Publcity may remove or modify misleading author information or attribution.

17. Accounts and Submission Access

Contributors are responsible for maintaining the security of their account and login information.

You should not submit content using another person’s account without authorization.

Publcity may restrict or suspend accounts associated with abuse, spam, fraudulent activity or repeated violations of these guidelines.

Content may be removed when required for legal, technical, editorial, security or policy reasons.
